Monday Nights at Blackbeard's

Monday night, 7 pm to 9 pm. No cover surprises, just Big Jim Kohler live in the front room, same time every week.

It's a loose, familiar, come-as-you-are night where regulars and first-timers share the same worn tables, blues rolling until last call.

Feel the Room

Press play and you're in the front room at Blackbeard's on a Monday night. Big Jim's guitar out front, cutting through, the harp answering back, and a crowd that came for one song and stayed for the whole set.

No big stage and no velvet rope. It's just Chicago Blues played up close, where you can hear the strings bite and see every bend coming. For a lot of folks, it's the best live blues in the East, and the night they plan their week around.
